About this service
A great contact-lens experience starts with a proper fitting. The shape and curvature of your cornea, your tear-film quality, and how you plan to use your lenses (dailies vs. bi-weekly, sports, dry environments) all influence which contacts will work best. We offer prescriptions for soft, daily-disposable, monthly, toric (for astigmatism), and multifocal lenses.
Who it's for
- First-time contact-lens wearers
- Patients switching brands or types of contacts
- Anyone with discomfort, dryness, or vision issues with current contacts
- Patients with astigmatism, presbyopia, or specialty needs (e.g., post-LASIK)
What's included
- Corneal measurements (keratometry / topography when indicated)
- Tear-film evaluation to identify dryness issues
- Trial lens fitting to confirm fit and comfort
- Vision check while wearing the lenses
- Insertion and removal training for new wearers
- A written prescription you can fill anywhere
What to expect at your Post Falls visit

- 3
A follow-up confirms the fit before we finalize your prescription.
- 4
Federal law guarantees you a copy of your prescription to fill at any retailer.
Why this matters
Improperly fitted contacts can cause corneal abrasions, infections, chronic dryness, and reduced vision. A precise fitting is what separates safe, comfortable, all-day contact wear from constant irritation.
